Egida Parcodaini,
pronounced eizjeeda, called Gida, is the first bitch I bred myself. She is from
the second litter of Erba and Rantje.
She takes very much after her mother, but she has the character of her father.
She is no longer in charge of the pack at the moment; her granddaughter has
taken over.
We took her twice on a matingtrip; once to Belgium and once to Italy. She
behaved exemplary during the long drive and in the packed subway of Milan. The
third mating was unfortunately less succesful; short after she got an
uteritis, that did not respond well to medication. She had to be neutered, but
had a fast and succesful recovery.
Since 2003 Gida has the title of Dutch Champion.
Summer 2007 it turmed out her kidneys didn't work properly anymore. This became
worse in 2008 and on the 10th of April we had to decided to let her go and put
her to sleep; she is burried next to her father and mother on our property.
